Clear rules for a platform you can trust

These Terms are the agreement between you and Muho ("we", "us") covering the Muho website, dashboard, chat widget, WordPress plugin, and APIs (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or embedding a Muho bot, you accept these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

Our Privacy Policy is part of this agreement and describes how we handle data.

• You must give an accurate email address and verify it with the code we send.
• You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including the actions of teammates you invite.
• Keep your password and API keys confidential; tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
• One person or organisation per account. Do not resell dashboard access as if it were your own platform without a written arrangement with us.
• You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, whichever is higher.

• Free by default. Every new account starts on the Free plan with its published limits.
• Subscription terms. Paid plans are sold for 1, 6, or 12 months, with the discount shown at checkout applied to longer terms.
• Manual review. Payments are submitted through the gateways listed at checkout and are activated after our team verifies the transaction. Submitting a payment is a request, not an automatic activation.
• False proof. Submitting a fabricated or altered payment reference is fraud and will result in immediate termination.
• Changing plans. Upgrades apply as soon as your payment is approved. Downgrades are scheduled for the end of your current term, and you can cancel a scheduled downgrade before it takes effect.
• Currency. Prices are denominated in USD; BDT amounts shown at checkout are a converted convenience figure for local gateways.
• Expiry. If a term ends without renewal, the account returns to the Free plan and features above that tier stop working. Your data is not deleted for this reason alone.

When you use the Muho platform AI key instead of your own, usage is metered against a prepaid balance at the rate published on the pricing page. Deductions happen per message, in near real time, and are visible in your dashboard.

• Top-ups are added to your balance after the same manual verification as subscriptions.
• Balance is a prepaid credit for AI usage on this platform. It is not a deposit, it earns no interest, and it is not transferable between accounts.
• If your balance reaches zero, bots using the platform key will reply with a balance-exhausted notice until you top up or switch to your own provider key.
• Metering records in our system are the authoritative record of usage. Tell us within 30 days if you believe a charge is wrong.

• Because activation is manual and access is granted immediately on approval, subscription fees are generally non-refundable once the term has started.
• We will refund a duplicate payment, a payment we failed to activate, or a charge caused by our error.
• Unused prepaid balance is not cashed out, but it remains usable while your account is in good standing.
• Nothing here removes rights you have under mandatory consumer law where you live.

You agree not to use Muho — or let anyone else use it — to:

• Break the law, or help anyone else break it.
• Impersonate a real person or organisation, or present the bot as a human when a user asks whether they are talking to an AI.
• Generate or distribute malware, phishing content, scams, or fraudulent financial offers.
• Produce sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises children — this results in immediate, permanent termination and reporting.
• Harass, threaten, defame, or incite violence against people or groups.
• Build surveillance, social scoring, biometric profiling, or covert manipulation systems.
• Give unsupervised medical, legal, or financial advice presented as coming from a qualified professional.
• Upload material you do not have the right to use, or that contains other people's sensitive personal data without a lawful basis.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or circumvent rate limits, plan limits, or the metering system.
• Remove Muho branding on plans where branding removal is not included.

Muho is built on the belief that AI should be a durable benefit to people, not a tool for quietly manipulating them. Using the Service means sharing that responsibility:

• Disclose the AI. Make it clear to your visitors that they are chatting with an automated assistant.
• Keep a human path. For anything consequential — money, health, safety, legal status — give people a way to reach a human.
• Own your outputs. AI models can be confidently wrong. Review what your bot is trained on, test it, and do not present its answers as guaranteed fact.
• Respect the source. Only crawl and upload content you own or are permitted to use.
• Report failures. If your bot produces harmful output, tell us so we can improve the guardrails for everyone.

You keep ownership of everything you upload, paste, crawl, or configure, and of the conversations your bots hold. You grant us only the licence we need to host, process, transmit, and display that content so the Service can function — including forwarding the relevant portions to the AI provider you selected.

We keep ownership of the Muho platform: the dashboard, widget, plugin, APIs, designs, and brand. Nothing here transfers those rights to you. You get a non-exclusive, revocable right to use them while your account is in good standing.

You are responsible for making sure your content does not infringe anyone's rights. If we receive a valid infringement complaint, we may remove the material in question.

The Service depends on external providers — AI model APIs, hosting, email delivery, and payment channels. When you choose a provider or a gateway, that provider's own terms and pricing also apply to you. We are not responsible for a third party's outage, policy change, price change, or decision to refuse your request. If you bring your own AI key, your relationship with that provider is directly yours.

• We work to keep Muho available and fast, but we do not promise uninterrupted service on any plan unless we have agreed to a written SLA with you.
• We may perform maintenance, and we will try to schedule disruptive work outside peak hours.
• We may add, change, or retire features. If we retire something you depend on, we will give reasonable notice where we can.
• We may update these Terms; the date at the top changes and material updates are emailed to account holders.

• You can stop using Muho at any time and ask us to delete your account.
• We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these Terms, fraudulent payment, abuse of the platform, or legal requirement.
• On termination, your bots stop serving and your embed code stops responding.
• Ask us within 30 days of termination if you need an export of your data; after that, deletion may be irreversible.
• Sections on ownership, disclaimers, liability, and governing law survive termination.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that AI-generated answers will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular decision.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, or data.

You agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Bangladesh have exclusive jurisdiction — except where mandatory local law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
