Launch a secure AI chatbot on your WordPress site

Sign up with your email and verify it with the 6-digit code we send you. Every new account starts on the Free plan — no card required.

• Go to Sign up, enter your name, email and a password.
• Confirm the one-time verification code delivered to your inbox.
• You land in your dashboard with a Free plan already attached.

Bring your own provider key, or subscribe to a premium plan and use the Muho Platform API with pay-as-you-go balance.

• Option A — Your own key: Dashboard → AI Source Key. Add an OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Groq, Cerebras, Mistral or OpenRouter key, then validate it in one click.
• Option B — Platform AI: upgrade to a Pro or Premium plan and top up your balance. Usage is metered per message, so you only pay for what your visitors actually use.
• You can switch between the two at any time, per bot.

Dashboard → Bots → New Bot. Give it a name, a slug, a greeting message and the system prompt that defines its personality.

• Name and slug identify the bot; the slug appears in the public bot URL.
• Greeting message is the first line visitors see when the chat opens.
• System prompt is the instruction set: tone of voice, what it may answer, when it should hand off to a human.
• Bots can be paused at any time — a paused bot politely rejects chat requests.

Feed the bot everything it needs to know: crawl your website, paste custom text, add Q&A pairs or upload documents.

• Link crawl — give a URL and Muho reads the page content into the knowledge base.
• Custom text — paste policies, shipping rules, pricing notes, anything.
• Q&A pairs — pin exact answers to the questions you get most.
• Files — upload documents and let the bot answer from them.
• Retrain any time; old sources can be removed individually.

Dashboard → Embed. Pick the bot you want to publish, choose the theme and layout, and preview it live before anything reaches your site.

• Select bot — the panel generates a snippet bound to that specific bot.
• Select the API the bot will run on (your own key or Platform AI).
• Choose a theme, launcher icon and position; premium themes such as Firestyle unlock on paid plans.

If the bot has no key yet, create one right there. This key authorises your WordPress site to talk to that one bot — and nothing else.

• Dashboard → API Keys → create a key for the selected bot.
• Restrict it to the domains you own, so a stolen key is useless elsewhere.
• Revoke or rotate the key at any moment; the widget stops working instantly.

The same Embed screen gives you the Muho Universal plugin ZIP and a one-line setup code for it.

• Click Download plugin — you get muho-universal.zip.
• Copy the setup code shown next to it; it contains the bot key the plugin needs.
• Keep the setup code private, the same way you would treat a password.

WP Admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin → choose the ZIP → Install → Activate. A Muho menu item appears in the sidebar.

• Open the Muho menu and paste your setup code into the connect field.
• Save — the plugin verifies the code against your account and confirms the linked bot.
• No FTP, no theme file edits, no manual script tags.

Use the Appearance section to match your brand, hit Save, and the chatbot is live on your site immediately.

• Pick the accent colour, theme and launcher icon.
• Scale the launcher between 50% and 200% for desktop and mobile.
• Choose the bubble or floating popup layout and its screen position.
• Paid plans can remove Muho branding entirely.
